Gauklers – Jugglers

The German public seeing these Moriskens being given as presents by the city of Munich began to inquire as to how too they could purchase these beautiful porcelain figures. However, the Moriskens were designed exclusively for the city of Munich and could not be sold to the general public. In order to satisfy the demand for the Moriskens, Allach sought for and received permission from the Urban Cultural Office to produce figures that were similar to the Moriskens that could be sold to the general public without breaking existing copyright laws.
